Urgent issue with hi-fi system - USB flash drive

Hello, I have the same problem with the Panasonic SA-PM45.
It reads some USB drives and not others.
I contacted Panasonic, and they say it's related to the file system of the drive, nothing to do with the formatting...(of course, it must be in FAT32)
They say there's nothing that can be done, just change the drive...
To the question I asked Panasonic: how can I know before buying (the drive) if it will work? they told me they don't know themselves, that it's a lottery!! (response received by email from Panasonic!)

Unfortunately, I have already checked and to be sure I formatted it to FAT32 with an allocation of 4096, but it doesn't change anything. Is it possible that the USB stick is too large (16GB)? I read that on another site, but the answers are contradictory. Otherwise, would it be possible to exchange it for another brand with the seller (Darty)? I should point out that the website says satisfaction guaranteed or your money back, but I’m not holding my breath; maybe an exchange?
