Problem with my mouse wheel

Hello,

I am reaching out to you because I have recently encountered an issue that can quickly become annoying.

I own a Trust DS-3700R keyboard and mouse set

http://www.trust.com/products/default.aspx?item=15177&grp=DESKSETS&supp=yes

The issue in question concerns the mouse wheel. In Windows Explorer, as well as in Mozilla Firefox and the MS Office 2007 suite, the wheel no longer controls the "scrollbars." The wheel only controls the volume in general (meaning it does not change the volume of Windows Media Player, for example: the slider indicating the volume does not move; it modifies the "Windows" volume, the icon of which is located in the taskbar.

This is true whether an application is open or not...

Thank you in advance for your help
Configuration: Windows Vista Firefox 2.0.0.7

Hello,
I bought a Trust MI-7700R mouse some time ago, and for those who have it, you can change the mode of the mouse by pressing and holding the sensitivity switch button until the indicator, which normally shows that the batteries are low, flashes. In normal mode, the mouse works normally with standard navigation buttons on the side, and on top, there are zoom buttons, along with 2 regular buttons and the scroll wheel that function normally. By switching modes, you enter multimedia mode; the side buttons allow you to skip to the next/previous track with Windows Media Player, the zoom buttons let you play/pause with one, and launch WMA with the other (see the little blue drawings). The two regular buttons work normally, but the scroll wheel adjusts the volume, or by pressing it, it can mute the sound! This is noted in the manual...
However, it is said that you can program the functionality of the buttons, but I don't see how. I hope they weren't referring to this mode change for the mouse...if someone can help me with this, it wouldn't be refused :)

Thank you very much for this tip, I was really starting to despair... It worked for me, even though I have a SANGHA mouse, but it must be the same... a BIG thank you again.
