Solved

Hello,

I live in Barcelona, do you know if it's possible to receive TNT via TNTSAT? I have a satellite dish pointing at Astra at my residence, so normally with the Sagem MPEG4 receiver I should be able to receive it.

Thank you in advance for your advice,

Thierry

    Hello, I am in Portugal.
I am desperately trying to get my Sagem TNTSAT to work on a satellite dish pointed at Astra.
Before leaving, I tested it in Paris, no problem.

In the antenna info, the signal is green and at 100.
However, in the card info, I have nothing.
Could you check on yours if this is a normal state?

    Thank you in advance.

      Hello,

I have exactly the same problem as you, nothing regarding my card information.
If you have solved the issue, could you let me know how you did it?

      Thanks a lot in advance.

      Mattheo

    Hello,
Contrary to the information posted a little earlier, I no longer sell TNTSAT decoders. However, I remain at your entire disposal by email to answer any technical questions regarding this equipment, its installation, or its use.
    Thank you very much.

I am located on the side of Algeciras, the extreme south of Spain, and I easily receive French TV channels with a small 60 cm satellite dish regardless of the satellite, Atlantic Bird 3, Astra, and Hot-Bird.

    Hello,

Thank you for your response. Do you have a website, an email, or a phone number to contact you? What is the name of your store? Is there a warranty?

    Thank you,

    Thierry

      Hello,
I would like to receive TNTSAT in Madrid (I believe BIS TV is not worth it), if I buy the terminal in Paris + a satellite dish (at least 80, I suppose), will I be able to use it without any problem in Spain?

      (I really miss French TV)

      Thank you very much!!!!

I'm going to move to Tarragona, and with a satellite dish and a TNT receiver from France, do you think I could receive French channels? Thank you.

But I am also looking for French people in Tarragona and would be happy to talk in French from time to time.
      Best regards

I just came back from Salou. I have a small satellite dish on the terrace, and I receive the 6 French channels without any problem on Atlantic Bird.

    Hello,

TNT stands for Digital Terrestrial Television for antenna type rooftop towards a terrestrial transmitter and with a TNT television... nothing to do with a satellite dish receiving TV via satellite broadcasting TNT channels, either through Atlantic Bird 3 with the FRANSAT offer, or through the Astra satellite with the TNTSAT offer.....

      Hello
Sorry, the TNT is also the name given to the TNT bouquet and its broadcast is terrestrial or via satellite; only the frequency changes, higher by satellite, but that doesn't change the fact that a bouquet is called by its name whether it is terrestrial or via satellite.
Read the TV Satellite article on this subject.

not DTT = Digital Terrestrial Television = DVB-T standard has nothing to do with satellite TV = DVB-S and S2 standard.

We shouldn't repeat what the media talks about and repeats indiscriminately; we need to say that the people who made the first press releases, including at the CSA, didn't understand anything and now everyone is repeating the same technological absurdities.

In no technical document (e.g. ITU, EBU, etc.) is DTT equivalent to satellite.. even a famous specialized magazine and its website mislead average readers; however, specifying "the DTT channels via satellite" is technically correct.

      Hello,

I've been in Barcelona for a year and I'm leaving at the end of June... I've had French TV since the beginning thanks to a little DIY installation...
      - a satellite dish bought here, we got a big one to have all the channels in HD and avoid problems with alignment or wind, price: 99 euros.
      - all the necessary cables to connect the dish to the home installation, 29 euros.
      - the arm to fix the dish and the balcony mounts: 60 euros.
      - the LNB (international LNB for ASTRA) to catch signals (essential), 49 euros.
      - the box and card bought in Barcelona at a small shop after Plaza Catalunya for 39 euros.

Since then, we have all the channels in HD!!! So there you go, for under 300 euros we have all the channels just like at home!
By the way, we are leaving at the end of the month, if anyone wants to buy the equipment, I'm selling it cheap!

Hello, if you are on Astra, you won't have any problems: Moreover, the installation is extremely simple. Just plug it in and it works.
If you are interested, I am selling this product in Spain from Valencia for 229 euros, shipping included. The decoder I am selling (brand new, of course) is the Sagem MPEG4.
