Microphone volume very low on Windows 10

Hello,

I'm throwing a message in a bottle. I've always had problems with my microphone recording very low sound. At first, I blamed my equipment, which must have been of poor quality (Boya lapel mic), which surprised me because I had seen good reviews about this mic. Anyway... until the day I decided to step up my game with a "Rode NT-USB" mic; I even changed my PC. To my surprise, I realized the problem was still there !!

So I thought it might be due to the Realtek audio drivers or Windows 10 since it couldn't come from my equipment: not at all, I uninstalled and installed the latest Realtek drivers, even using driver managers, and tested with several mics. I still have the option to raise the volume in the advanced sound settings in Windows or with a mixing software, but it's still a messy solution and it bothers me, to put it politely, that I spent €140 on a mic and got this result.

If anyone has a solution, I would be happy to hear it :)

Hello and welcome to this forum,

Bottle received despite a rough sea.
    Dumb question:
Have you ever tried this: (advanced sound settings in Windows?)

Control Panel -> Hardware and Sound -> Sound → click on manage audio devices -> click on the "Recording" tab, select your microphone and double-click on it -> levels -> adjust the microphone level and/or "microphone boost"

Thank you for taking the time to respond to me. Yes, that's what I was saying; in the end, it works, but it makes a lot of background noise.
