The server process could not be started and more

Hello everyone. I think I'm going to go crazy here. For a week I've been trying to fix my PC unsuccessfully. I'm running Windows 7, and for the past few days, I haven't been able to access my "guest" session, the control panel, the hard drives, or other system applications.

When I click on them, I get the error message "The server process could not be started because the configured identity is incorrect. Check the username and password."

I've also noticed that the visual appearance of the "start" menu icon has changed, going from a circle to a rectangle like in the older versions of Windows.

I tried booting with F8 to perform a system restore from a restore point, but it's impossible. I'm told that I don't have any, yet I'm convinced that I set up the creation of restore points.

So after searching online, I tried to open the command prompt as an administrator by right-clicking to run the "sfc" scan. Impossible; I receive the error message "C:\windows\system32\cmd.exe the drive is not ready."

Next, I tried using Kaspersky Rescue Disk for an antivirus scan. No solution yet, the problem persists.

This morning I even attempted a Windows upgrade. I couldn't do it since the USB drive where the ISO was installed is inaccessible due to the inaccessibility of the workstation.

I don't know what to do anymore. I don't want to proceed with a Windows reinstallation. Unless as a last resort because from what I've read, doing so would delete my documents.

Can anyone help me?

Hello,

First of all, run the FRST scan.
If it doesn't work, boot into safe mode with networking:
Go into safe mode:

~~

To check your computer for potential infections and get a general state of the system:

Follow the FRST tutorial by clicking on this blue link. ( take the time to read carefully - everything is well explained ).

Download and run the FRST scan,
Wait for the scan to finish, a message will indicate that the analysis is complete.

Three FRST reports will be generated:
  • FRST.txt
  • Shortcut.
  • Additional.txt

Send these 3 reports to the site https://pjjoint.malekal.com/ and return with the 3 pjjoint links leading to the reports here in a new response so we can consult them.

(The blue links lead to step-by-step explanatory tutorials, click on them for more precise instructions to follow).
