Hello everyone,
So here is my situation: I have an LG screen: https://www.lg.com/fr/televiseurs/lg-OLED55C7V-oled-uhd-tv-4k and a home theater system.
For some time now, the orange colors have disappeared.
I was wondering if my nearby speakers (located 10-20 cm behind the TV) might have created a magnetic field!!
I’ve looked everywhere, but there is no mention of the magnetic field affecting OLED screens.
It only talks about the magnetic field affecting CRT screens, but not plasma and LCD ones: https://www.extra.fr/guide/placement-des-enceintes-home-cinema

LG even released magnetized screens.
So my question is simple:
Is there a correlation between magnetic fields and OLED screens?

Thanks everyone!

Hello,
No, OLED screens are fully supported by "magnetic fields" and "electric fields."
At LG, the color loss issue indeed comes from the panel itself. I say this from experience, as it happened to me. LG either replaces the panel or reconfigures the colors with software that they slowly distribute to French repair technicians.
There are two solutions: either get the panel replaced, and LG is well aware of this problem, which is also known with Philips screens and others they manufacture for different brands.
Or find a repair technician who can reconfigure using this famous software.

That's basically it.
For me, LG gave me both options; however, the first panel arrived broken via FranceExpress (so it's recommended). The technician then came with the new panel and the reprogramming software.
The choice was quickly resolved: reprogramming, and since then, it’s been working perfectly.

Good luck!
