Hello,
I would like to connect my Toshiba TV to an LG soundbar.
The soundbar has a USB, optical, and jack input.
My TV only has a jack output, but when I connect the two with the jack cable, it doesn't work....
Does anyone have an idea, please?
Configuration: Android / Chrome 77.0.3865.92

Hello,
Make sure that the jack connection is an output on the TV and an input on the soundbar.
Then check the proper functioning of the soundbar. If the problem only occurs when connecting the TV via jack and not another device, like a phone, then there is probably a setting to adjust on the TV.
When the cable is plugged in, does the TV sound cut off?
Also, check that the audio source on the soundbar is correct.
What are the model numbers of the soundbar and the TV?

Good evening,
What are the models of this Toshiba television and the LG soundbar?

It's very difficult to catch a black cat in a dark room.
Especially when it's not there...

The television has two audio outputs:
- a digital coaxial output at the back
- a headphone jack (3.5) on the side
Is this the one =======>
that you used?
The soundbar, on the other hand, offers two audio inputs:
- a digital optical input
- a jack 3.5 socket labeled Port IN
Note: if you were using a Coaxial IN to Optical Out converter installed between the TV's coax output and the soundbar's optical input, you would gain sound quality.
