Hello,
Here is my issue:
I have a Toshiba Regza TV (AV56 digital) with an optical output
A Canal decoder that is connected to this TV via HDMI
I just bought an LG soundbar with optical connectivity ( http://www.lg.com/fr/home-cinema/lg-NB2020A ). I connected it to my TV via an optical cable.
Once the cable is plugged into the TV, there's indeed a red light inside!
But the problem is that the sound continues to come out of the TV's speakers! It’s impossible to get sound on the soundbar...
In the TV menu, there’s nothing regarding the activation of the optical sound
Can you help me???? Do you have any tips to activate this optical sound? Thank you!

Hello,
There is an issue regarding this TV model, I only found 3 references that include "AV565D", and none of the 3 models have an optical audio output, so I'm wondering how you managed to connect an optical cable???
Unless the reference you gave me is not the correct one yet???
Here are the 3 models found with the "AV565D" extension:
--> 81 cm 32" https://www.lcd-compare.com/televiseur-TOS32AV565DG-TOSHIBA-32AV565DG.htm
--> 94 cm 37" https://www.lcd-compare.com/televiseur-TOS37AV565DG-TOSHIBA-37AV565DG.htm
--> 107 cm 42" https://www.lcd-compare.com/televiseur-TOS42AV565DG-TOSHIBA-42AV565DG.htm
Read the paragraphs titled "Connectique du téléviseur LCD TOSHIBA ..."
You will notice that none of these paragraphs mention a digital optical audio output.
Best regards ;-)
