Connection PS5 - Projector - Soundbar

Hello, I'm trying to connect my PS5 - projector - soundbar (not yet chosen) in the best possible way.
2 questions?
1) Is it preferable to output the sound from my BenQ TH685i projector or from my PS5?
2) Is it possible via the PS5 to extract the sound and video through an extractor to send the image via HDMI to the projector (HDMI-1 (2.0b/HDCP2.2) and the sound to a soundbar via HDMI ARC (to enjoy Dolby Atmos)?
If so, which extractor would be the most competent?
Thank you for your answers and best wishes.

Hello, I thought you also had a TV and "that" you could enjoy it, it all depends on your living room
Fiber optic, only Dolby Atmos 5.1 is accepted and not 7.1 or DTS HD, it's not the fiber that blocks but the connections (According to...)
2 HDMI outputs to add to the extractor

Hello, thank you for your wishes. I'm not "into PS" but I think I can guide you.
Congratulations on your projector purchase; it has two HDMI ports.
Using the audio from the projector is to be avoided due to a lack of power.
Your PS has an HDMI output; your soundbar will need to be equipped with 2 HDMI inputs and an output to your projector (bypass).
So, there’s no need for an audio extractor.
The second HDMI input can be reserved for your TV.
As for the use of Dolby Atmos? It's more complex; it will depend on the audio source components.

Thank you for your response.
So no, my projector only has one HDMI port (the other is an internal HDMI for connecting an Android dongle).
The PS5 also only has one HDMI output.
So what now?
Hello, you mentioned an HDMI connection from your PS to your projector, so is it good now?
I added that if you wanted to connect your TV to your projector, I see that your model has 2 HDMI without any other signs.
Now, if it's to connect a dongle, you can do like me and connect a 'Chromecast', which is the equivalent of an Android box.
You also have a Wi-Fi option.
Now, if it's true, check in your manual.

The model is TH685i

Okay to connect the PS5 directly to the projector, but the sound output will be via the analog connection of the video. (The PS does not have a sound output)
Basically, is it possible through an extraction module to go from the PS5 to the Extractor - then HDMI 1 OUT to the projector, and HDMI 2 OUT to the soundbar?

Hello, there are audio extractor boxes in spdif or stereo rca for you to choose from.
But I'm getting back to my idea: you connect your PS to your soundbar via HDMI and there is a video output from your projector to your TV, what I call a bypass.
There is also an optical audio input on your soundbar that can come from your TV.
You need to choose your soundbar carefully with these connections; there are a lot of questions on the site, but afterwards.
NOTE: when I look at my projector, I have muted the projector's sound and I use the sound from my PC.
In your case, you should do the same and use the sound from your soundbar.
