Hello,
What does the red exclamation mark on the mail monitor icon mean?
I should clarify that this happens randomly when the icon (in white) shows: "no new messages".
Thank you for giving me this clarification, as it intrigues me.
Configuration: Linux / Firefox 68.0

Hi Cerflu,
Not sure we're talking about the same thing, but on the XFCE page dedicated to this feature, in the "Logging" section, there's a reference to a connection issue with the courier server, which can happen sometimes...
It also mentions an icon with a "prohibited" sign. Is that your case?

Hello Zipe31,
Indeed: see history => clear and everything goes back to normal, I think it should also work by unchecking the button: show the history status in the icon
By hovering over the blue icon, I was getting the indication of the number of emails or, on the white icon: no new emails
Thank you very much -
