No service abroad

Question

Hello,
I have been in Canada for a week and I have the €19.99 plan from Free that allows me to have access to 3G abroad and unlimited calls and texts. I even received a message from Free indicating that they were supporting me in Canada. The network and internet were working very well for the first 5 days, but since I went to a national park where no one had any signal, I have been without service for two days now even though we left the park and my family has regained network coverage. I've tried everything: restarting my phone, manually selecting the network, putting my phone in airplane mode, removing my SIM card, but nothing works! If anyone has a solution, I would appreciate it.

There may be a problem with the local operator.

Agreements between operators or the use of the network are not universal. If a foreign operator has made an agreement with a local operator, other local operators are not obliged to reroute calls from a foreign subscriber.

You should have several networks available at your location. Try to force the connection individually to see if one of them works...
Phones are programmed by default to use the strongest available network...
