OS X Utilities (disk not found?)

Hello,

Context:
I'm in the middle of the Viking series, which I can't watch from my phone, and my computer won't start:

I installed Mojave on my MacBook Pro (late 2012), to my great regret. While the first months were smooth, today my computer displays a folder with a question mark at startup. As advised, I proceed to turn it on with the cmd+r keys pressed to see what's going on.

From the OS X Utilities menu, there are three options, in addition to online help.

The first is to verify, repair, or erase a disk. After checking the startup disk, I’m told that the disk seems to be in good condition.

I have two options left. The second one I try is to restore from a Time Machine backup, which I had made the day before on this same computer. I can indeed reach the point where my external hard drive and my most recent backup are recognized. However, there is no destination disk available for the restoration. The phrase “Searching for disks...” can last for hours, and nothing seems to be found.

The other option is to reinstall OS X, with the operating system being offered being Mountain Lion 10.8. When I go to select the disk on which I would like to install it, there are no options available.

What should I do in this situation?

Thank you very much for taking the time to read this :)

Configuration: iPhone / Safari 12.1

I doubt it can work in this case, as it's the internal DD, but nothing ventured, nothing gained:

Resetting the NVRAM or PRAM on your Mac

https://support.apple.com/fr-fr/HT204063 .

Also, if not (still little hope but who knows...), use the installer downloaded from the internet, see:

https://support.apple.com/fr-fr/HT201255

Command (⌘) + R: allows you to boot from the built-in recovery system of macOS. You can also use Option + Command + R or Shift + Option + Command + R to boot from the Internet recovery feature of macOS.
In this case, the latest version of macOS will be installed.
