Hello,
Unfortunately, I'm not very skilled with computers. I would like to know if it's possible to install a more recent version of my software.
Here are the specifications of my Mac:
MacBook Pro Retina, 15-inch, late 2013
Processor 2.3 GHz Intel Core i7
Memory 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Software OS X 10.9.5 (13F1911)
Thank you in advance.

A late 2013 15" MacBook Pro Retina is eligible for all later versions of macOS up to Big Sur. What could be a drawback is the SSD capacity (256 GB, 512 GB, or 1 TB?). Note: starting with Catalina, 32-bit applications are no longer supported. Versions of macOS prior to Big Sur are available from this page.
Finally, in any case, you can install the version you want. However, you might find yourself a bit cramped (regardless of the version of macOS) on the SSD side. It's not entirely impossible to replace it if you wish (see the iFixIt guide), although it does require certain skills.
