Numericable box connection issues

Hello,

Since this evening, my connection is down; only the power light and the blue WPS light are on.

Windows no longer detects the router either, even with a new Ethernet cable.

I tried turning it off and then on again after 1 minute, and even the factory reset doesn't work.
I think I might need to change the coaxial cable, but I can't seem to unscrew it from the box.

Do you have any opinions/advice? What number should I call now that Numericable support is no longer in service?

Best regards.

Hi,
you contact SFR, and have them change that box for you, that's it.

and ... There you go!

Good evening,

What model of BOX is it..??

It seems that the connection is cut off... Coming from the coaxial, you need to check the wires in your house and also outside, up to the pole...
Your socket should be able to unscrew; you might be turning it the wrong way..??

How long have you had this BOX..?? And has it ever worked at your place..?

There is no phone number... You need to contact them via the "Chat" on their website... which I imagine is "Red by SFR" that you could have specified, it's the least you could do.

Good evening, it's a castlenet cbv38z4. It has been working very well for me for 3 years.

I'm not sure if it's red by SFR since I was originally with numericable before they were taken over, but I'll see if they can help me tomorrow morning. Thank you.

Yes, this equipment worked with the Numéricable network... which was taken over by SFR... It's possible that some succession issues might cut your line for a while during the transition to the successor..

-- But well, you should know who your provider is, you pay them bills, there’s a name on it...? Or maybe you don't pay them and they cut your line, everything is normal.

-- You say you've "turned it off and on again." There's a difference between unplugging it and plugging it back in.. Have you tried the wall socket?
