Hello,

I can't download certain types of files (certain extensions) even though I can download everything else without any problem.

I tried Chrome, Firefox, and IE, but nothing works.

Do you have any idea?

When I start the download, the file begins to load, then the speed becomes ridiculous (a few bytes per second). After about ten seconds, the download stops and it says Failed - Network Error: https://zupimages.net/up/19/15/uvdr.jpg

Normal, it's an m3u, but Windows associates it with VLC.

You can always try uninstalling VLC and reinstalling it to see
      maybe VLC has an issue?

    Failed to download m3u file

The file in question is for the free IPTV that should open/work with VLC

Yes, that's right, it's an m3u, so Windows recognizes that the file type is associated with VLC.
And VLC has no problem opening this type of file.
If I download it compressed, no worries.

It's a legal document, nothing pirated in it, don't jump to conclusions without knowing.

    re

I don't draw any conclusions or anything, I've already tested myself to get free IPTV

I think I don't need to explain to you that nothing is free nowadays...

    See you

You draw conclusions, these are private chains.

Private channels or not, it's not free...

Moreover, if you search a bit on the web, you'll see that prices are not excessive for IPTV

I don't care about your IPTV chains, I pay for my subscriptions.
I don't want to pirate anything, just be able to download my txt or m3u.

I just downloaded the file in "no time flat", and the file is "clean", I analyzed it on VirusTotal

    the analysis link >> https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/de14130a1ac30cc6608c3c8ac7ba6943640e127d60579b59fc18001d73caffe5

I don't see what's not working on your PC for the download

PS: it only plays NRJ12 and gives me 1 error message

That's exactly why I'm asking for help.
I can also download the file with my other PCs.
But with the one in the living room, it's impossible.

I don't think the problem is with the download, but with the execution/reading of the file that gives a code error

You can transfer the file to the living room PC with a USB stick

      Exactly, I've already done that.
But that doesn't give me the cause of the problem.

    re

ok, do you have different operating systems on the different PCs?

I don't know why one PC downloads the file and another one doesn't...

Sorry, but I don't see where your problem lies, since you transferred the file via a USB stick to your living room PC, and it doesn't work
