Hello
I have a little problem besides the fact that I'm a total newbie with computers... hehe
My computer won't start Windows 7 anymore, well, it does... basically, I'm redirected directly to a black screen with the message
Status: 0xc000014c
Windows failed to load because the system registry file is missing or corrupt
Can't start in safe mode
I've done a bit of research online and I've come across mentions of a recovery CD that I don't have... can it be done without this CD? What can I do since there is no option to "repair the computer"?

Hello,
What is the brand of the PC?
Not a good sign, it may indicate a disk problem.
~~
Try a system restore on startup of Windows 7.
Start a System Restore from the "Repair my computer" menu. To do this, restart, before the Windows logo, tap the F8 key, a menu will appear. Select Repair my computer and press the Enter key on the keyboard. Follow the tutorial:
how to restore Windows 7 on startup.
TAKE YOUR TIME AND READ THE INSTRUCTIONS ON THE PAGE CAREFULLY - DO NOT PERFORM A FACTORY RESET!
Note: The System Restore does not cause data loss; it reloads a previous "image" of Windows. Be careful to read well, do not choose a Factory Reset otherwise you will lose all your data!

Please press any key to continue the disinfection...

I already tried the F8 method but I don't have the "REPAIR my computer" function, I go straight to this:
and whatever I choose I always end up on this:
