Hello,
I use Word 2007 very often and, for the first time, I can't print the page numbers. However, it seems to me that I've set up my layout as usual, but I've had to touch something... but I can't find what.
My margins are fine (in the "page layout" tab), the numbers appear correctly on my screen, but not on the paper. Do you have any idea to solve the problem?
Thanks in advance! :)
Configuration: Windows / Firefox 65.0

Hello,
You say "the margins are good", but the footers are not based on the margins.
So, in the Page Layout dialog, Layout tab, check how far from the edge your footer is. If it's less than 0.5 cm, there's a risk it won't print.
By the way, have you tried "printing" to PDF? Is the pagination visible?
If not, still check that your footer isn't set to hidden attribute! It can happen and we might not realize it.

Don't bother asking your questions privately. I won't answer them.

Thank you for your response M@rina.
While digging through the other messages, I ultimately figured out that it might be a matter of footer height. I went through it point by point, and the number finally appeared in the print preview, and I printed it, all good.
But...
This height doesn't work for me. Look at the attached image:
It's the bottom of an A4 page. And I would like the number to be roughly in the middle of the space. But if I place it there in Word, it doesn't print. How could I do that? I printed several documents where the number was lower relative to the bottom of the page, but it is true that they were in smaller formats than A4...
I'll give you the current values:
- bottom margin (in layout): 1.68 cm
- footer from the bottom (Design tab): 1.6 cm
Thank you in advance! :)

It's a printer problem...
Try checking what the minimum margins of your printer are. To do this, create a new document, go to the layout, and set the margins to 0 everywhere. When you validate, Word will tell you that the margins are too small and will offer to fix them. Click on Fix then OK and then check what your margins are set to.

Sorry M@rina for the late response...
Indeed, the bottom margin is 1.68 cm, while the other three are at 0.3, 0.4, and 0.5!
But I looked at the printer properties, and I don't see anything that allows me to adjust the margins...

Ah... sorry, I didn't understand since you were talking about the printer's properties.
From a Word perspective, I can't tell you anything more. If your printer can't print less than 1.68cm from the edge... I have no solution. It's a common issue with many printers that require a larger margin, especially inkjet ones.
Still, check your printer's specifications to ensure that aligns with that. If it does, there's no solution besides investing in another printer. I don't know what your printer is, but the manual should be available online if you no longer have it.
If it doesn't match, try updating the driver.
