Google Chrome: open PDF links without downloading Solved

Question

Hello,

For the past few days, despite my settings, when I click on a PDF link, the Google browser asks me to save it, whereas I just want to open and view the PDF in a new tab.

Configuration: Windows / Chrome 73.0.3683.75

To be clearer for French speakers. Settings>Advanced settings>Privacy and security>Site settings>PDF documents -- to the statement: Download PDF files instead of automatically opening them in Chrome. Choose to disable.

No need to restart; it works immediately!
