Mounting screws for Philips TV support 32PFL9632D/10

Hello,
I have a Philips 32PFL9632D/10 television (it's a bit old, from 2007, but it works perfectly fine)
I want to mount it on the wall. For this, I bought a Meliconi bracket, checking beforehand in the TV manual and on the Meliconi website that the TV and bracket were compatible.
Unfortunately, the bracket came with 8mm diameter screws to attach the TV, which do not fit at all in the mounting holes of the television.
So I looked at the manual (again) and it mentions M48!!!! Suffice it to say that this is ridiculous. I contacted Philips customer service, who kindly suggested that I download the manual (ha ha ha!!)
I did have the idea to open the manual in Dutch, and there was a miracle: M48 became M4 (4mm diameter makes more sense)
But my question in all of this is: okay, I need screws with a 4mm diameter, but how do I know the length? And above all, given the weight of the TV, how can I be sure that the weight will be supported by 4 screws with a 4mm diameter (whereas Meliconi provided screws with 8mm)?

Unless I'm mistaken, the fixing screws for the stand are the ones to use for wall mounting.
The brackets are generally designed for various types of televisions, depending on the size of the TV, and the supplied screws are intended for the largest compatible TV model.
What is the model of this Meliconi mount?
A 32-inch television is not that heavy; 4mm screws will be more than sufficient. At least, that's what the user manual suggests on page 6.

Very difficult to catch a black cat in a dark room.
Especially when it's not there...
The screws of the base seem really too short to support the weight of the television.
The mount model is the Meliconi GS400F, which attaches with 4 fixing points where the TV has 6.
not for 32", plus it is a Vesa 400x400 model compatible with 200x100 and said to be compatible with your device.

Try using the bolts that secure the stand, you will see if they are long enough or not, 4mm bolts can be easily found in stores.
