Hello everyone! So here is my problem: I just received a beautiful 50-inch plasma television and I would like to mount it in my living room. The small problem is that there is only drywall in my living room... So I'm a bit hesitant to mount it. I should specify that it weighs around 31 kg. Has anyone ever mounted a TV of this weight on drywall, and if not, could anyone who knows about DIY help me? Thanks in advance!

I understand, it's a lot of work for a TV...;))
But I don't think it's the ideal solution in my opinion because the long Molly will pull away a bit in the Moellon, but the part that will remain in the plasterboard, 7 to 10 cm depending on the thickness of your plasterboard, will bend under the weight since it will only rest on the glass wool...
Personally, I would opt for Molly anchors 12 mm in diameter and 40 to 50 mm long. Each can support over 60 kg and they will anchor into the insulation and the plasterboard, making the whole thing much sturdier..
