Samsung TV stand setup Solved

Question

Hello,
We just bought a Samsung UE40C6000 TV and are trying in vain to attach the stand. The first part to be screwed into the transparent base is no problem, but it’s impossible to place the second black plate against the first and hold it in place. We don’t understand how this plate can stay put while we insert the screen between the two plates (which will be screwed to the screen afterwards). And Samsung's technical service is unable to answer the question :-(
Has anyone had the same problem and managed to resolve it? Thank you for your help.

I have the same television that was delivered to me without the essential guide support to connect the stand to the television. I contacted CDiscount's customer service, which after nearly a month still hasn't sent me the missing part, and Samsung tells me I should contact my retailer. I believe that Samsung's technical service is fully aware of this design flaw but pretends not to know in order to avoid facing the financial consequences. Of course, I could buy a new TV stand, but that's 200 to 300 euros... I would like to hear testimonies from people who have faced the same issue.

The second black plate replaces, I think, the first one during wall mounting. Well, that's how I set up the stand for my TV. However, it doesn't seem to pivot... and I'm not too keen on forcing it.

thank you Jubio. We found the solution once we were less annoyed, actually it's super simple. Just slide the back of the screen onto the first plate fixed to the base and secure it with the 5 screws.

Hello, sorry for the late reply, but I just had the same thing happen to me, and I found the solution!! After more than an hour of searching, I saw that the missing parts were at the bottom of the box behind the styrofoam!!
I hope I was helpful to you, even though it was a long time ago, and maybe I helped others in this situation!! :)

Hello everyone,

I'm having a similar problem to yours with this TV stand. I have the 8 screws and the stand in two parts, but I can't push the screws all the way down into the holes to fully tighten the stand and make it hold. When I screw the first square part that attaches to the back of the TV, it's okay to some extent, even though it still wobbles a bit after tightening, but it's especially when I try to attach the black mount to the TV that the screws seem to get stuck halfway!!! Help! Does anyone have a solution?
