Hello,
It has been over 3 months since I took all the steps with Showroom to delete my account. Each time I receive emails from the "Customer Service" that are off the mark, which, after a few exchanges, assures me that it will delete my account. However, my account is still active to this day...
I have no ongoing orders and have followed all the procedures correctly. The site refuses to delete my account and keeps my data without my consent.
What recourse do I have?

The last time I closed my bank account (I know it’s unrelated)
My online account remained active and accessible for a long time afterward. I called customer service several times, and they confirmed the deletion despite my access to it via the internet.
Some things are not immediate and it takes time. The best thing is to call them directly to make sure they received the closure request.

Good evening, Thank you very much for your response. In this situation, it won't work. I have made a total of fifteen requests to the site - each time I’m told that my account will be deleted within a maximum of 78 hours... the 78 hours have long passed ^^ it’s not a bank account or a lease termination for an apartment. It should normally be a simple deletion of an inactive account for months. What is puzzling are the messages I receive: "we have duly noted your request... your account deletion will be effective within a maximum of 78 hours..." then nothing. I have clearly spoken to fifteen different employees who are unable to delete an account... I don’t understand what takes so long...
