4G issue: my Free mobile has very slow speeds

Hello,

I have a free mobile plan at 19.99/month that has been working perfectly for months until a week ago.

My problem: I have very low bandwidth, I can no longer pick up 4G+ (maximum 4G) and despite searching online and trying various solutions, nothing works.

Practical information:
- My brother, who has the same phone with the same plan, is working perfectly. My mother, who has a different free plan and a different phone, is also fine.
- The problem persists wherever I go; I have been to several large cities.
- I am set to 4G/3G/2G mode and my operator is indeed free
- I have not exceeded my usable data limit at all
- I have tried turning it off/on, switching airplane mode on and off

There you go, I'm starting to despair; not having internet (or almost) is really very debilitating these days. Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.

Thank you for your help. I found the problem, maybe this will help others.

I'm limited to 100 GB per month. My phone indicates that I've consumed 42 (which is already too much for my usage) but checking online I see that I'm at 100.69 and therefore my speed is reduced.

This huge consumption comes from the data tethering on my phone that I use sometimes. I had forgotten to disable background data usage. So, when I was using it with my computer, all the applications I have on my Mac were updating automatically using my mobile plan, and some for games, for example, can use 4/5 gigabytes so it can add up very quickly.

Now I just have to wait for my consumption to reset and the problem should be solved!

I have unlimited bandwidth, but the problem is the same. Do you have any tips?
