Hello,
I can no longer find the hard drive from my Freebox Révolution in "network." I usually store folders there. A new Freebox Server folder has been created with a bunch of subfolders that I have no use for.
I followed a tutorial I found on the web that said to create a network drive and name it \\FREEBOX\Hard drive
I wasn't able to find the folder in "network" that was suggested to me.
Thank you for your help.

Good evening,

It might simply be a problem with Windows Explorer. You need to restart it.
There are two ways to proceed:

1) Restart the session

2) Open Windows Explorer and go to the Task Manager (right-click on the taskbar). Right-click on "Windows Explorer" and end the task.
Then, still in the Task Manager, click on File => Run new task. In the window that opens, type explorer and confirm.

With Explorer relaunched, the network content should display normally (the network display is always a bit slow).

Best regards

Hello,
Thank you for your response. I did what you told me and even restarted the Freebox, but it didn’t change anything.
I went into Freebox OS4 and snooped around. Under "Disk," I found reported errors and formatted the hard drive. No more errors, but still nothing in the network.
I reset the Freebox settings, then shut down my computer and rebooted the Freebox again. In the network, I still have Freebox and Freebox server but there’s still no hard drive.
On my computer, when I click on "This PC," I notice changes. "Network location 1" has been created and under it a Downloads folder. When I open the folder, I get a message saying "Windows cannot access \\FREEBOX\Hard Drive\Downloads."
I found in Freebox OS the option to transfer folders, but it’s a hassle and you can’t copy and paste. You have to use an uploader that lags and freezes if you transfer more than 5 files at a time.
I end up questioning whether Free has changed its presentation and if the hard drive is no longer accessible. Have you heard anything about this?
Thank you for your help.

I suggested restarting the Explorer because it's a common issue and it's easy to do.

Try what is indicated in the Brupala link (enabling the SMBV1 network protocol).

Is the hard drive functioning normally in the Player (recordings, playback, videos)?
