Hello, my PC does not detect my phone (Samsung Galaxy Note 4). I thought it was because of the cable. But no, it works fine on other PCs. I want to point out that the Windows sound for device detection is heard, but there is no display in Windows Explorer.

Hello,
A recommended solution by Microsoft:
1) Connect the mobile to the computer via a USB cable.
2) Open the Device Manager.
3) Click on the ''View'' tab --> ''Show hidden devices''
4) Right-click on ''Unknown device'' --> ''Properties''
5) ''Driver'' tab --> ''Update driver''
6) ''Browse my computer for drivers''
7) Select ''Choose from a list of device drivers on my computer''
8) Click on ''MTP USB Device'' in the list and then on ''Next''
9) The driver should install correctly, please check in the file explorer that your mobile is recognized.
The Device Manager can be accessed by right-clicking on ''Start'' (You can also type ''Device Manager'' in the search box next to Start.)
You can try ...

Hello
No actions to take on the mobile?
With my A5, via USB, at first I had to pair it by tapping on the screen of my mobile... and for a while now, I've noticed that the pairing happens automatically.

The sound is not a problem, that is normal because your phone is a peripheral... it only confirms that it is connected.
Any device connected to the PC should emit a small sound by default from Windows.
Now, every phone, once connected to the PC, shows you the options to choose what it will do...
Among other things
-charge only;
-exchange files;
-display images;
If you choose charge only, nothing will display on your PC screen, but as soon as you choose the other two, your PC should normally display the phone options.
Otherwise, in that case, update Windows to acquire drivers that can boost compatibility between your PC and your cellphone.
