Hello,

How to blacklist a number and a text message as spam?

I can't find these options on my Wiko Pulp 4G running Android Lollipop 5.1.

The options "automatic rejection" or "add to rejection/spam list" are nowhere to be found...

Neither in the message settings, nor in the call log settings, nor in the contact settings. All I can do is delete these numbers, which is useless since they can still contact me.

I also found nothing in the general phone settings. I've seen several tutorials online saying to click on the "left menu", but all I have is 3 dots on the right for settings.

For the caller's number, I tried saving it in my contacts and then going to "edit", but all I can do is forward it automatically to voicemail.

I can't seem to find the blacklist or spam list in the phone settings, how do I block numbers?

NB: I clarify again in case someone sends me a link to the "left menu" tutorial that I don't have this option and I also don't have the rejection list in the "edit" option of the selected contact.

Thank you for your help

Configuration: Windows / Chrome 71.0.3578.98

    Hello,
To do this, you go to the contacts app, click on the desired contact (which must be saved in the phone's memory or Google), click on the pencil icon, then on the 3 dots in the upper right corner, then All calls to message.voc. :)
    Have a great day!

      Hello Julie,

      Thank you for your response.
As I mentioned in my post, I had indeed seen this possibility, but it is useless since the unwanted number can still contact me even if it goes to voicemail. Moreover, I suppose that if it can access voicemail, it will also be notified in my call log, perhaps as a missed call.
What I am looking for is the blacklist option that exists on other phones, where the number is really blocked and cannot contact me (voicemail) or appear in the call log.
I thought this basic option was available on all phones. On my old Samsung, I just had to click on the number and then on the three dots, and I had "add to reject list." Easy as pie.
Meanwhile, I found another solution, but it's tedious. In my mobile provider user account (online), I have a "call filtering" option where I can register annoying numbers and apply a "block," "redirect to voicemail," etc. filter... But this means I have to go through the computer and re-enter the number in question into my account...
Whereas an option included in the phone would be so much simpler.

        Hello,

You can also download an app that allows you to do this if you wish to do it from your phone.

        Have a great day.
