Nintendo support scam

Hello everyone
I need some advice because I am extremely angry.
I sent my kids' Switch console, purchased in December 2017, for repair because it suddenly stopped charging, and it was still under warranty.
At the beginning of December, the customer service informed me that the console has a major connectivity issue, and the out-of-warranty repair costs 215 euros.

I refuse the quote, although annoyed that they are asking me for 13 euros by check; I send them the check and, of course, refuse the quote because I am convinced I can get the console repaired for less.

A few days later, I receive an email informing me that the console is going to be repaired. I immediately call Nintendo and tell the representative that I have indeed refused the 215-euro quote and that there is no way I would pay.
She says, "No, no, don't worry; we will repair it for 13 euros."

This is a little Christmas gift, I tell her; are you sure, ma'am? She assures me that yes...
Well, feeling doubtful, I wait, and indeed the console arrives on December 26, repaired...

The problem is that I checked my account today and saw that a check for 215 euros is going to be presented...!!!

I would never have thought that a large company like them could falsify checks. IT'S THEFT
I'm not going to let this go; I will call my bank tomorrow, and if necessary, I will go to Cergy to see them...

Hello, I took a look at the customer service site and it seems that this problem is indeed not covered by the warranty (which is for 12 months).

The price is indeed €215 according to this table: https://www.nintendo-sav.fr/files/TARIF_DEVIS_2019_WEB_consommateurs_finaux.pdf

When you refuse the estimate, customer service is supposed to return the console to you without repair but in that case, you have to pay a maximum of €15 (so here it was €13).

So you refused the estimate, paid €13 by check, customer service still repairs the console for €13, and suddenly the €13 check turns into €215...

Looking at reviews online, Nintendo customer service seems dishonest (but it's not Nintendo itself).
I have no idea who to discuss this with to try to resolve the issue; in any case, €215 seems a lot to me, but if there hadn't been this scam and you had found someone else to repair the Switch, I think it would have cost at least €100 (well, after that I don't know exactly what the problem with the Switch was so maybe €215 is worth it but I have no idea).
