Hello,
I have an HP 4520 printer for over 2 years, until recently the duplex printing was working correctly but lately it often pulls 2 sheets at the same time instead of one, so the front side ends up on the second sheet loaded at the same time as the first. Of course, when I load the tray with new sheets, I make sure to shuffle them like a deck of cards to eliminate any sticking, but without success. I also checked if there was a sheet stuck inside...
Do you know what I should do to fix this problem with the printer, cleaning the rollers or something else, but they are not really accessible...
Maybe trying a different brand of paper?
Thank you
JPL
Configuration: Macintosh / Safari 12.0.2

hello
a little cleaning of the roller can prove effective, just like changing the brand of paper
however, if these actions do not resolve the issue, we will have to ask the difficult question:
because repairing (or having repaired) a printer that is 2 years old or more will not be worth it compared to buying a new one.
or do without automatic duplex printing and do it manually in the meantime -
We don't really have access to the mechanism that loads the first sheet of the stack; for now, I won't do double-sided printing until I get my new ream of paper. It might be the type of paper that's causing the issue. Otherwise, the simplest solution will be to buy another new printer.
Thank you
