Hello,
I have an Orange box powered by fiber.
My television powered by a plug (since it's not in the same room) often experiences pixelation and the sound is sometimes choppy. The ethernet cables connecting the box to the first plug and the second plug to the television are category FTP 5e. Do you think that if I replace them with category 6a ethernet cables, I will solve my problem? Thank you for your response. Best regards. JP

Hello,
No, the problem isn't there... first, we need to know which "PLC" model you are using, as its frequency is important... also, the number of devices connected in your house.
That said, we also need to know if there is any mosaic effect without the PLCs...?? and to know your actual internet speed... because it is quite possible that your internet is not delivering enough from the start.?? so you should do the test at https://www.speedtest.net/fr (with a cable, not on wifi) and at the end, click on share and copy the link with the chain links here.
If everything is fine, it is indeed the PLC connection that is at fault... but that happens between the two boxes... the quality of your electrical installation, the choice of sockets, and removing power strips...
Take some photos so we can see how everything is connected..
