The image is green, why?

Hello and thank you in advance to anyone who can help me solve this issue.
I wanted to connect my PC to my TV, I bought the appropriate cable, it works very well, BUT, when I tried to switch to my TV screen, the picture had turned green. (Maybe it’s jealousy). I tried to play a DVD on my usual player = green image
I tried the same experiment using my PC's player = the image is perfect.
A big mystery, thank you for your suggestions!

    The last time this happened to me, there was a loose connection in my cable; by moving it at the plug, the picture would become clear again. With a rubber band and a McGyver mindset, it lasted for years.

    After that, I don't know if your cable is new; in any case, it could be a lead :)
