Hello,
Our company uses a PowerPoint template created by a third party.
In the section at the bottom reserved for comments (under each slide), the font size is tiny and makes the comments unreadable.
We are unable to change the size, even when going to the "Font" menu.

We are wondering if only the author of the template can fix this issue. Could you please help us?
Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Hello,

The font settings are modified in the template: View tab, Master Views group, Notes Master button.
There you have the slide+notes layout (at the bottom). So in the bottom area, which is the comments area, you can choose the desired font size. The easiest way is to select the area and click on the Increase Font Size button, under the Home tab. This way, the font size will increase for each list level (in case lists are entered). Once done, exit the Master View.
Note that you can, if necessary, enlarge the comments area. Don't forget that this is the layout intended for printing.

Next, what you need to know is that when entering notes in Normal view, you do not see the difference, and the entry always looks the same, regardless of the font chosen in the master. Personally, I don't find it too small, but for those who type a lot of comments, it is not advisable to enter them in Normal view. Indeed, it is better to enter in Notes Page view for two reasons:

1) You have access to the desired font, you can format it if you wish with bold, italics, or whatever you want (via the Home tab), and it is clear.

2) You can see the limit of the space reserved for notes as it is indeed limited, but in Normal view, you can enter 300 lines if you want, there is no limit, except that when printing, you will only have the visible part! However, during the presentation, you will have a dropdown list and access to the entire note.

To work in Notes Page view: View tab, Presentation Modes group, Notes Page button.

Hello,
Thank you for your suggestions for corrections. However, the issue has been resolved differently.

Indeed, I had to go to: View -> Enable Notes -> Zoom and set it to 100%.
I learned that you can also zoom in on the notes, and not just the slides.
Have a good day.

Hello, well yes, obviously if it's just a display issue, you just need to zoom, that's true everywhere (or almost). But the result is only in the display. If we want to print, it won’t change anything. And since you were talking about the template, it's hard to know that it was only a display issue, as the template has nothing to do with it...

Hello. Usually, the font size can be changed like any other text in a Microsoft Office file. You need to send us the troublesome file so we can check the settings, options, and configurations.
 1) Go to https://www.cjoint.com/
2) Click [Browse] to select your file (max 15 MB)
3) Scroll down and click the blue button [Create Cjoint link]
4) After a few seconds, the second page will display, with the link in bold; right-click on it and choose "Copy link"
5) Return to your discussion on CCM and paste it in your message.
