Does a turned-off computer emit waves?

Hello everyone,
I have a question to ask you.
I wanted to know if a computer emits waves when it is turned off. I am going to buy a laptop and I would like to leave it turned off at night in my room, but I do not want to be exposed to waves. So I would like to know beforehand!

    A laptop never really turns off unless you remove the battery. If you're really concerned about receiving waves without having to take out the battery, position it opposite your bed and there shouldn't be any risk :).
