My PC only charges when it's turned off!

Hello,
I have had an Asus Transformer Book for almost a year now, and I have already had to take it for repairs twice (the first time it had issues with: the touchpad, battery life, not to mention the recurring bugs / the second time my PC was "freezing")! They changed the motherboard each time. It’s been less than a week since I got my PC back with a new motherboard, and for the third time, I’m encountering another problem with this computer...
When my Asus is turned off, it charges perfectly; however, as soon as it is turned on, it no longer charges, even though it does indicate that my computer is plugged in! Finally, I’ve also noticed that my PC discharges even faster when it is plugged in but in sleep mode.
I would like to point out that my charger is not the original one, but I did not have this problem before. In terms of battery life, I have had to point out each time that it was significantly lower than what I had at the beginning, although it was not too bothersome. However, I will soon return to class at university, and if my PC does not charge when it's on, added to this little autonomy issue, I don’t know how I will manage!
(PS: I am still under warranty. It was supposed to end in September, but given the numerous issues I have already had with my computer, they extended my warranty by three months.)
I would like your opinion before possibly having to send it back for repairs a third time...
Thank you in advance for your responses!

Look in your computer's settings; there should be options for the battery. It's possible that you or Asus customer service have reconfigured your computer so that it only charges when turned off (when it's running, it should stay plugged in).
If you can't find it (and it definitely shouldn't be that), you might consider returning your Asus PC and buying another one. Otherwise, send it back for repair.
I told you to change it because Asus isn't really a reliable brand. I also had an Asus Transformer TF101 tablet, and it had several issues. Now, it's stored in a case while I figure out what I can do with it (yes, it doesn't charge anymore, so I'm not using it)!!
If you send your PC to customer service, they will repair it and everything... But when your warranty expires (I don’t wish that on you), you'll have to find something else. Because right now, you're just extending its time, the duration of the warranty.
