Hello,
I don't know if I'm in the right place but I'm taking the plunge.
So here it is, I have an ASUS laptop that has an Nvidia GTX 950M graphics card, but the problem is that as soon as I launch a game like Watch Dogs, after going past the main menu, my computer shuts down suddenly.
So I don't know what to do...
I searched on several forums, but since all the cases were more or less different, I preferred to create my own discussion.
Feel free to ask me for more information about my computer, I'll provide it.

Surely a overheating issue. Is your CPU cooler working? (Is it making noise or really not at all?)
Replacing the thermal paste can also solve the overheating problem if that's the case.

  No, at the level of the fans everything seems to be going well, they are running without any issues, it is quiet and when I start a demanding game I can hear it running so nothing unusual. Furthermore, the computer isn't even hot when it shuts down; it really only shuts down when it reaches the end of the loading bar in (for example) Watch Dogs.

I tried to follow the tutorial, but at the part where I need to go to GPU-Z, it works but it only shows my integrated graphics controller. However, when I try to switch to my GTX 950M, the program stops responding... is there an alternative or a solution to this problem?

  Is the same issue with GPU Shark?
  And I suggest you switch to the GTX first.

  Here you go, I was finally able to complete almost the entire tutorial, so I'm getting back to you to share the results. However, I can't seem to perform the very last step "Burn in benchmark," I always get an error message.

  The message is "could not switch to fullscreen mode"
  I tried with different resolutions, but nothing works, it's still the same.
  
  I add an element that I just discovered at the moment, I only tried with Watch Dogs but the game seems to work well when I have the battery in the laptop and plugged into the socket at the same time.
  
  Before, I was only plugged into the mains without the battery inserted.

  your battery story is strange, that would mean your transformer isn't delivering enough power

Thank you very much for your help.

So I went to check the information,
I find 19V on the transformer and on the laptop, but on the amperage side, the transformer indicates 3.42A while the laptop shows 6.32A, so I conclude that it is indeed a problem with the transformer and not the laptop itself.

  It's clear, your power supply is delivering half the power your PC requires!!!!
  I'm even surprised it hasn't failed yet.
  
  You know what you need to do, but above all, make sure to get the same amperage or higher than what your PC requires.
