Hello,
I would like to know what you think of Wondershare Video Converter Ultimate... Indeed, I read very good reviews on their site, but I think I’ve been fooled. I bought a lifetime license a few years ago, and unfortunately, since the new updates of Mac OS, it has become very slow. I’ve also read that it’s a malware software...
What do you think?
And if it’s that negative, what software do you recommend for converting mp4 videos to mov on Mac OS Mojave?
Thank you for all your comments.
Looking forward to hearing from you...

For my part, I am very dissatisfied. Upon arrival, the compression completely removed portions of the original video. A film that is 1 hour and 9 minutes long is only 28 minutes long once compressed.
Hello,
First of all, why would you want to convert videos from MP4 to MOV?
You have QuickTime that should allow it or perhaps for "free" ffmpegX for example.
As for Wondershare Video Converter Ultimate, I don't know it well but I don't think it's malicious as you say...
Since you have an unlimited license, maybe you'll need to wait for an update of this software to make it compatible with the new OS.
Best regards
P.S.: I'm on Windows and I only know the Apple universe through my iPad.

I am bringing this thread back up, I experienced the same slow issue, there is now UNICONVERTER (same publisher), which is great.
Unfortunately, all it takes for the publisher is not to develop updates for the "lifetime licenses", and to put a "new software" on the market, which is again… paid!

Thank you for your first response...
First of all, I have a Mac, and I prefer to be in MOV format, as I had problems with MP4 once or twice when I wanted to put an image of the movie poster for my rankings... Oh, I know I'm not a tech whiz, but I have my habits.
It's true that I could use QuickTime to record my videos, but since the format of the film I use most often is not in full screen, it causes me recording issues: I can see the mouse I move over the recorded space... I tried and tried, but it was difficult.
I haven't had any problems with Wondershare so far, but these reviews have left me skeptical... However, I will reuse it. I must say that I had problems with MacOS Mojave, and I had to reset my Mac completely. Now, it works very well.
Thank you also for your advice on using ffmpegX...
