Hello, I bought an ASUS laptop and I didn't check the operating system it had (big mistake), which is Endless OS.
Link to the PC: https://www.cdiscount.com/informatique/ordinateurs-pc-portables/v-10709-10709.html
When I saw it was running Endless OS, I immediately bought a Windows 10 license and downloaded Windows 10 onto a bootable USB drive.
Upon starting my PC, I went into the BIOS to prioritize my bootable USB drive. But when I launched the installation, an error message appeared: "The upgrade option is unavailable if you start your computer using a Windows installation media."
Thank you for your help.

Hello,
It follows the same principle as FreeDos, see: https://www.malekal.com/freedos-windows-10/
Basically, it's a small free OS and you indeed have to install Windows yourself.
It allows you to install another OS like Linux without having to purchase the license with the computer.
"The upgrade option is not available if you boot your computer using a Windows installation media."
You need to choose custom and create the main partition.
You can delete the partition where EndLess OS is installed.
Follow this tutorial that explains how to install Windows 10: how to install Windows 10.
All steps are provided from A to Z with tips at the end to secure Windows 10.

You need to delete the existing partitions and then on the free space, create the main partition by clicking on new.
Otherwise, provide a picture of the partition page if you want a more precise answer.
