Gmail stuck on "loading..."

Hello,

Gmail has just forced me (since yesterday) to its new version.

I have 3 different Gmail accounts and I had pinned them to the taskbar a long time ago (via Internet Explorer, I believe).

However, since the new version, whenever I access my Gmail accounts through the taskbar icons, the messages I want to read are stuck on "loading."

On the other hand, when I access my emails directly (without going through the taskbar), it works.

My browser is Firefox, but I've tried with IE + Chrome: the same issue - I've cleared the caches of both IE and Firefox (I only downloaded Chrome today to complete my tests).

In short, I'm stuck and don't know what to do.

If anyone has an idea, I thank you in advance for your help.

Best regards - Pierre

Configuration: Windows 7 64 bits - Chrome (default) - IE - Firefox - CPU 3.30 GHz - RAM 4.00 GB - HDD 1 TB

    Hello,

This problem is often due to browser extensions (plugins). To verify this, simply launch the browser in safe mode.
    • For Chrome: press Windows+R then
      chrome.exe --disable-extensions
    • For Firefox: press Windows+R then
      firefox.exe -safe-mode
    • For Internet Explorer: press Windows+R then
      iexplore.exe -extoff

Otherwise, you can try to revert to the old interface using this explanation

I found a solution on my side without touching the extensions, the cache, or whatever.

It was coming from my signature, which had an image stored on my drive.
I deleted that image and bingo! No more message.
Consider this solution if you have a signature + image.

      Good night
