COSMOSPACE scam fortune telling?
Solved/ClosedNiNak -
Hello everyone,
I was a victim of a scam involving fortune-telling by the company cosmospace. In the past three months, they have withdrawn 2500 euros from my bank account. They abused my trust to take a subscription of 500 euros, and every month, they charge me 240 euros. Can I find out the conditions to cancel my subscription? How can I stop Cosmospace from taking money from my account?

Hello,
I worked at Cosmo for 2 weeks.
They scam people by sending them automated messages telling them that a certain psychic has important things to say to them when it's not true.
We are forced to lie to the clients each time, otherwise we are pressured because we haven't sold enough packages or consultations. Avoid at all costs!!-
Good evening,
I stumbled upon this discussion by chance, but it is a bit dated.
Are you still in the process against Cosmospace?
I too was a victim of these crooks at a time when things were tough in my life.
I was manipulated by a psychic, a certain Oriana, who lied to me all along while keeping me in a dead-end situation that was very bad for me.
I lost thousands of euros and it lasted more than two years.
I was completely manipulated by this so-called psychic who clearly took advantage of my psychological weakness at the time.
I eventually blocked the withdrawals at my bank and changed my credit card.
I owed them about €600 and I was never bothered again as soon as I threatened them, the last time they called me, to file a complaint for abuse of weakness.
If you need to know more or want my testimony, feel free to contact me.
We need to stop these people from causing harm. -

Hello,
Cosmospace.com is probably what to avoid in fortune-telling; numerous forums are filled with testimonials against this site, even coming from former employees of the Télémaque company, the owner of Cosmospace, as well as many satellite sites and call centers in Tunisia where part of their "psychics" operate.
Cosmospace is a fortune-telling site that is the subject of many complaints and legal actions that could tarnish the image of true professionals in the field. According to testimonies from former employees, many of the psychics are simply employees endowed with persuasive skills, undergoing specific training.
A phone service that does not clearly indicate pricing conditions, preferring to guide you towards a free consultation but which oddly tries to take your payment card number at any cost under the pretext of ensuring your majority; ultimately, the surprise bill can be very, very heavy, far beyond the reasonable rates practiced by reputable fortune-telling sites.
Cosmospace.com is a large group with many branches leading to billed consultations despite existing arguments like "Free Chat," which is, of course, robotized. With nearly 300 psychics and mediums, mostly employees of the company, it's hard to believe that the Côte d'Azur, the headquarters of Cosmospace, is home to so many genuine psychics—a very significant number; we invite you to check the forums beforehand.
This is what one can read about this kind of drivel for the dimwitted when searching for just 10 seconds on the internet...-
Hello everyone
I confirm, having been a medium at cosmospace until January 3, 2020,
regarding this, I am filing a complaint against cosmospace at the Grasse court and would appreciate your testimonies to include in my file. I denounce it; it is a scandal to make people believe that one is a medium to rip them off.. No, I love this science too much, I am passionate about it, I love helping people and I love my colleagues at work who unfortunately have no choice..
Thank you and if you need my testimony, I will be happy to help
let's stop the scams
Have a wonderful day everyone -

Re:
Oh no! If I had the slightest gift to see anything, I would start my own business and not work for a pathetic scam factory spewing 'predictions' churned out by crappy algorithms..
For advice see here:

No Contract = No obligation! The hags of false clairvoyance have no admissible proof in court.. They only threaten.. Blah blah.. Don't be impressed.. You didn't ask them for ANYTHING, did you?
Civil Code L1353:
The person who demands the performance of an obligation must prove it. .................
See you later
PS: On the other hand, I once knew a 'crook' who visited this company (located in the South) with great interest and who explained the operation to me.. No 'psychics' in there! Just employees paid peanuts asked to bring in as much CASH as possible.. And reading scripts on a screen.. -
Hello,
I was a client of theirs for several years and gradually realized that their predictions were false as real events unfolded. I lost 43/44,000 Euros; in fact, instead of helping me make the right choices, they led me astray with beautiful projects of which I still see nothing and made me spend the money that would have allowed me to achieve my projects; they excel at postponing, maintaining suspense by "taking stock to see where we stand"... They appear friendly but, in reality, possess no clairvoyance, no gift, just personal opinions, based on the information they constantly ask for, and it's clear why... It's complacent clairvoyance and no genuine gift of foresight except for the one time when Diane's prediction indeed came true within the indicated timeframe. However, it required a reading every two weeks, or she would say she couldn't see anything otherwise, and she grew impatient; I stopped after three months.
I then had GREGOIRE and LORENZO as my main seers: such imagination for matters that are undoubtedly never verifiable. Lorenzo took a long time to believe me regarding the moons having no influence on my life; he is always very reassuring... we understand why because nothing happens, and when he can’t see anything anymore, he always repeats the same things, ending by saying that "it will surely happen one day"; he told me that I was special to him... (it's true I had an unusual story, and I attributed it to that). Both are very detailed about things that so far are unverifiable... GREGOIRE really went very far by telling me to organize my life according to such a story... which I have not seen come to fruition. In fact, it’s mostly deduction, banalities, personal opinions, and insinuations that he doesn’t explain, pretending "we'll see later"... Instead of helping me, they worsened my problems.
I INTEND TO FILE A COMPLAINT AS WELL AS OFFER MY TESTIMONY TO SEVERAL MEDIA INCLUDING NICE MATIN AND TELEVISION PROGRAMS ABOUT SCAMS; there have indeed been several on this subject in recent months, including COSMOSPACE, which I recognized... IF FORMER EMPLOYEES OF TELEMAQUE/COSMOSPACE CAN JOIN ME WITH OTHER CLIENTS TO BUILD A FILE TOGETHER AND TESTIFY TOGETHER, I AM INTERESTED. It feels like a real mafia network as they are so skilled at deceiving us and scamming us as much as possible. -
Yes, there are some mediums who take their time to get more money, and they don't tell you to call back to continue the reading so they can make more money, but not all of them are like that. They ask for your credit card number, which is normal because everything is secure. After ten minutes, you get the sound signal; it's up to you whether to continue or not, but they warn you beforehand. It depends on the psychic and the rate per minute, which can go up to 9 euros per minute. You can block it at ten minutes; that's what I did. I am blocked at ten minutes. You need to write a letter; I did that several years ago. I only pay 15 euros for ten minutes. There are nice and generous mediums who offer me extra minutes. They have had my credit card number for years, and I trust them. I'm always charged 15 euros. Of course, there are some psychics who aren't psychic.... but I've come across a few that I quickly skipped over. There are quite a few, it's true, but my mediums have told me things that have happened. There you go, if I can help.

Hello Master, I have been a victim of fraud and harassment over the phone since 2017 until today!! I filed a complaint at the police station; I have the file as proof.. they called me once saying that divination is free.. that it is people who pay with their credit card.. To my great surprise, I had a hard time believing them but in the end, I got caught up in their kindness!! What manipulation!! At the switchboard, there were many of them, I heard them speaking in Arabic but as I don't understand the language.. I would like to contact you because they asked me for my credit card number, my civil status!! They managed to manipulate me!! While organizing my papers, I realize there were some withdrawals!! I feel like throwing up!! Can I contact you please, it’s urgent!! Victim of ongoing harassment, I will not give up!!

Hello!!
You should think about reading further up, for example this:
https://forums.commentcamarche.net/forum/affich-35545909-arnaque-a-la-voyance-societe-cosmospace#52
This 'evil shop' can only make FAKE threats.. They have no admissible proof..
Don't talk to them anymore!
Put their Uranus-Jupiter Trine and their 'shoddy astral plans' in the Trash Bin..
Let them bray!

Hello,
Thank you for your reply. Having realized it was a scam, I contacted my bank to block the company Cosmoplace so they cannot withdraw any money from me. I have a few subscriptions with clairvoyants, but I no longer consult with them at all. Can they still demand money from me? Since I am not aware of my withdrawal rights to avoid being harassed, losing a lot of money, or becoming a victim of their scam.-
Simply..... People who seek help don't know it (credulity, their need) the proof
You are here, sending a firecracker.....
Good for you, if your life is perfect...
Humans may feel the need to be comforted, listened to...... and unfortunately, there are individuals who have no MORALITY and who take advantage of people's distress to make money.
COSMOSPACE is proof of that.
Simply put.
Our society is struggling with itself... -

Hello, having faced emotional difficulties, I turned to fortune-telling websites, including the famous Cosmos Space! Well, as for the psychics, it's practically useless; their predictions are terrible!! It's like they just decided to be psychics on a whim!!!!! Most of them are former secretaries, unemployed, plumbers, roofers, cleaners, couriers, or warehouse workers! Lol come on, fortune-telling is 2 out of 10 at best; these sites should seriously be better regulated!? And without any scruples, some charge insane prices, taking advantage of a moment of weakness or distress.

file a complaint with the court of first instance
for breach of trust against a vulnerable person
I will show you how to block them in your email inbox
you open the email at the top right next to the star and the arrow pointing to the right
you will see three dots: which are aligned vertically, you click on it and you click on block -
Hello, I also just got scammed out of 200 euros. I have just blocked my card and contacted my bank to get a refund.
-
I have consulted this platform for years and there are no real psychics, and in fact, they are not even tested. They are just salespeople who are briefed to encourage you to use your credit card, like all the platforms. Consult in person or through word of mouth; I met my psychic Sandra Sarah like that through friends.
-
Good evening
The best way is to call the bank and report your credit card as lost, and then the payments will stop. As long as they have the card number, they have the power, so block everything and then everything will get back to normal. I didn't let myself be taken advantage of. Don't take out a plan, it's too expensive. And there aren't many good seers. There you go, good luck. -

I was scammed over €1000: it's all just talk and now they are chasing me for €500. I'm going to file a complaint. Plus, I read a review from a Cosmopace employee who complained and said that the site scams people who call them.

Hello everyone. I am shocked to learn that this company is involved in such scams. I am currently conducting an investigation on the company, so I am trying to gather as many testimonies as possible, whether from victims or former employees; both are very important. Here’s my email: *************@gmail.com.
Thank you all for your participation.

Hello,
I also checked Cosmospace, and I confirm that it is indeed a scam. The so-called psychics are not psychics at all; they use what you tell them to come up with completely false predictions.
On the phone, the psychic tends to make you talk, first to put you at ease and second to collect information. And based on what you say, they draw cards and go in the direction of your own previously given information.
One day, I tried to be very vague about myself to see what they would tell me. They came up with so much nonsense that I couldn't help but laugh!
It was completely false...
I didn't stay long with them, so it didn't cost me much financially, but I thought about how this is a godsend for vulnerable and lonely people.
And I really find it sad to take advantage of someone's weakness to make money. So I sympathize.
You must absolutely avoid Cosmospace. -
Do you know a Laurie? She managed to guess things I haven't told her, and I would like to know if she is reliable despite everyone telling me that cosmospace scams people.

Hello
I just read all the comments about Cosmos and I'm worried. They made me sign up for a package at €280 payable in 3 installments. Reading your comments makes me feel sick and I realize this is a scam. If I block my credit card tomorrow, will I have any other charges? -
Having worked there, very few are blood mediums; people who wish to become mediums receive training, so one can always learn if they are good salespeople.
-
Hello, I had a consultation with 10 minutes free and I continued a bit afterwards when I realized it was a scam. I ended the communication and blocked my card. They are threatening me if I don't pay 80 euros. What should I do? She was asking me questions and repeating my phrases while changing them, it's a huge scam! Am I obligated to pay? Because they are threatening to file a complaint.

Hello
To file a complaint under some unknown pretext, the old witch - Madame Irma - sick with the lump must prove that it is indeed WITH YOU that there was a contract..
Empty threats.. Let her bray! And of course, you don’t remember ever talking to a witch.. Don't panic in case of further threats, you haven't talked to anyone!! Understood??
Reminder: consulting fortune-telling online is the surest way to get fleeced (without learning anything..).. 100% SCAM..
See you! -

Re:
A supposed recorded call is absolutely not evidence!! The chatter about the SSD recorder cannot be linked to anyone..
Furthermore, if there is a recording, it is VERY likely (99.999%) that the system that made it is not certified at all..
You didn't talk to Madame Irma. Is that clear??
And don't talk to them, you would get burned.. Send them to see Belzebub..
See you later -

Do not give in to their threats, tell them that if their harassment continues, you will file a complaint with the public prosecutor, and I will testify for you as well as other former employees, I am fighting against them, I reported their methods on social media, they even dared to file a complaint against me in criminal court claiming I was lying, no I am not lying, I worked there, people attend marketing training, they even stated in their conclusions that I refused their training, because I am a blood medium, and receiving training to learn how to extend consultations and make people pay, testimonies from former employees also confirm these practices, never, never will I condone such practices, I would be too afraid of going to hell because as I often say "Karma is watching you."
