Hello,
My children gave me 2 essential external hard drives from Boulanger, each with 500 GB, several months ago. After a few months of care, I would like to use them to back up my system and files.
- How can I tell if they are formatted and ready to use?
- Can these items be named?
With children and grandchildren on the go, I'm reaching out to the CCM community.

    Hello
    They are logically ready to use, you just need to plug them in

    To name them
    Go to "This PC" (or Computer, or My Computer, depending on your version of Windows) and on the disk in question "right-click/rename"
