Hello
I just bought a new setup
-Intel Pentium G4560
-Corsair 350W 80+ Bronze power supply
-MSI motherboard
-and 4GB of DDR4 RAM (I'm still waiting for the graphics card)
I retrieved an old 500GB hard drive and I'm waiting for an old Radeon HD graphics card

My problem is that on Google Chrome and Vivaldi, when I use YouTube, I get a gray screen instead of certain videos (it's completely random), whereas I don't have this problem on Microsoft Edge.
So I don't really know where it comes from. I'm counting on you and thank you in advance.

Hi,

Are all the drivers properly installed?

You really should have opted for 8GB of RAM; 4GB is relatively light, even for browsing and office tasks... Browsers are becoming increasingly resource-hungry, especially when you add video playback, etc.

Your issue seems to be a display problem related to the graphics card, its drivers, or settings... First, check if all the drivers are properly installed and up to date. Then, look at what monitor you have and how you’re connected between the PC and the monitor.

And I'm connected via VGA (the thing is that it only happens with some videos and there are no problems with Edge).

Thank you for responding so quickly
No, I didn't install a driver for this GPU, it’s temporary (but on my old PC it didn’t need a driver)
And the 4GB of RAM is temporary; I’m going to buy 8 more in a few months

I didn't talk about the drivers for "this" GPU, but rather the drivers for all the PC peripherals.

So, start by installing ALL the drivers correctly.

Then, make sure you have your 64-bit browsers installed as well. And if not, check the hardware decoding settings...
