Downloadhelper icon always grey

I installed DownloadHelper a while ago and I often used it to download videos from YouTube, but right now the buttons remain inactive even for videos that I was able to download before. What should I do?

      Thank you for the reply, I tried to download again but the icon remains inactive, do I need to uninstall downloadhelper (how?) and reinstall it?
