Selfie mode locked + image upside down

Hello, I'm trying to troubleshoot a friend's Alcatel POP4S phone. She bought it second-hand from a store and is facing an issue with the camera.

When we open the camera, the selfie mode is activated, and the image is upside down, while in landscape mode, the image is right side up. Additionally, I don't see the icon to switch between the front and rear cameras. I checked the manual, but the designated icon is missing.

I browsed through the options but couldn't find anything to fix this. I tried installing another app and performing a factory reset, but with no result.
