Problem taking a photo with a selfie stick.

Hello, I bought a selfie stick at Fnac (the one for 20 euros), but here’s the thing: it works fine with Snapchat or other apps, but as soon as I want to take a photo with the phone's camera, it doesn't work! When I press the button, it zooms in on the phone instead of taking a picture!
Knowing that my stick is not connected via Bluetooth but with a cable.
If you could help me, that would be nice!!

    Hi,

    Open the camera settings, and check that the trigger settings are properly set to the flight buttons ;-)

      Hi :-)

      When you open your camera, go to its settings.

      You will find photo settings, video settings, and general settings... In the last tab (a gear icon), there is an option that allows you to determine the action of the volume buttons; you need to set it to camera shutter, and you will be able to take pictures by pressing the button ;-)

      What application do you use for your camera?

      Could you tell me what settings you have in the menus of your camera?

      (To open the menu, you need to press the left button next to the home button).

      I'm using the camera that's already on the phone.
      When I press on the left, it says "edit shortcuts" and nothing else...
