AVG Free Issue: "You are not protected"

Hello,
Last night, I realized that my antivirus (AVG free), after updating, was telling me: "You are not protected. Computer protection is disabled." and presented the button: "Repair now" (yet, in the taskbar, the icon clearly indicates "protection enabled"). I clicked on that button, but nothing happens... I went to the official site to re-download the software, I uninstalled and reinstalled it, then restarted, I repeated the same steps to try to repair the software instead of uninstalling it, but the problem is still there, AVG still tells me I'm not protected, and the button still doesn't work.
However, I haven't noticed any particular slowdowns, and Malewarebytes doesn't indicate any infections on its side. I don't know if it's a bug due to the last update I did (version 18.5.3059), or if it was a mistake on my part while updating my software? Can you help me, please?

Hello,
Uninstall AVG properly using this AVG utility, and reinstall it, or better yet, install the free antivirus Kaspersky Free instead of AVG.
