Hello,

My Windows 10 PC won’t start anymore.

I looked on several forums, spending two or three hours searching for why Windows wouldn’t boot, then I tried a system restore, everything went fine until I reached the confirmation of the disk to restore.

I need to enable system protection on this drive, but the problem is that I can’t access safe mode, which means I can't enable the protection. So, is there a command to enable system protection on this drive from the command prompt?

I want to keep the personal files on my PC, and regarding the software, it’s not a problem; I will reinstall them.

Best regards.

    Hello,
You want to perform a system restore, but you didn't create restore points before your issue since system restore was disabled, so enabling it now is pointless; the restore point should have been created before the problem.

I have automatic restore points that have been created, there was one for example on 04/08/2018, so is that possible?

Yes, it's possible since you have a restore point so you don't need it. In that case, why are you being asked to enable system protection on this drive? Having it enabled on drive C: is enough.
