MacOS startup stuck (under High Sierra)

Hello,

For the past two days, I haven’t been able to start my computer: when I boot it up, the loading bar under the Apple is very slow, and once it reaches the end, I can’t do anything. The screen stays frozen on the Apple with the loading bar completely filled.

By pressing CMD+R and turning the computer back on, I can access the disk utility. I selected the Macintosh disk and ran First Aid: everything seems fine, no issues there.
If I restore my last backup, I'll risk losing all the information (especially photos) saved in the photo software during my vacation.

Before taking the risk of losing all my photos from July, could you help me unlock the startup of my Mac in another way?

Thank you in advance!
Bicoune

Hello,

try starting in safe mode (press and hold the Shift key until the Apple logo appears)
