Hello,
I am currently an intern and for my thesis, I need to set up an automated Excel file to evaluate our inventory levels at all stages of production. I am therefore in the process of formalizing an Excel file to directly extract data from Business Object so that a dashboard is automatically generated.
However, in one cell I currently have 12 nested functions and I cannot validate my formula because an error message appears when trying to validate: "Cannot enter the specified formula because it uses more nesting levels than allowed by the current file format."
Given that my formula is still far from finished (with several more nestings to add), I don’t know what to do. I read online that one can go up to 64 nested functions in a single cell, so I am still far from the maximum.
My question is, how can we change a file format so that I can continue my formula?
Additionally, if anyone knows of a better way to do this kind of work than Excel, that could also be interesting for me.
Thank you very much for your information.
Best regards,
Florent.
