Small circles that slip between words

Solved

Hello,

I would like to get rid of the small circles that appear in the spaces between words and link the words together through formatting and hyphenation: all the words connected by these small circles are considered by Word as a single word. I am attaching a screenshot with a Word text and these small circles that I would like to remove.

Thank you for your help!

    Hello,

copy your round (which is a non-breaking space), deselect it then Ctrl+h
Replace: paste the character (or type Alt+0160)
    By: put a space
Replace all. Possibly restore the necessary non-breaking spaces.

By continuously trying, we eventually succeed.
So the more it fails, the more chances we have for it to work. (the Shadoks)
In addition to the thank you (yes, yes, it can be done!!!), remember to mark it as resolved. Thank you

      I'm not sure it's a non-breaking space; normally, it's empty!
Or the circle doesn't look like that.

      Well seen Éric (greetings)

I clicked on the non-breaking space icon and the little dots and circles appeared - so just deselect the non-breaking space button.

      Regards

    Hi

What happens when you create a new document?

Hello, when I create a document, it is often based on copy/paste taken from the internet. I have NEVER tried to include small circles. Thanks to Eric, I managed to remove them by replacing them with a simple space. But I wonder how we can do without these circles...

    Hello

Where does the text come from? Did you write it or is it copied from somewhere else?

    ;)

    Hello

Check in file / options / Display if Space is unchecked.

    Best regards

I would add that for the little circles "o" I don't know what they are; we need something concrete to work on; provide an example page via cjoint ===>see this link

Hello and thank you for your response, I checked what you indicated but the small circles still exist; between two small circles, the words have strictly the same formatting and are linked together as a single word. This creates gaps in the text because there are many line breaks. I delete them manually. Did you see the photo of the screenshot that I attached to my question? Thank you

Désolé, je ne peux pas accéder aux liens ou aux fichiers externes. Si vous avez un texte à traduire, vous pouvez le copier et le coller ici.

        Re:
Well, that's surprising because when I opened your link, there are no points between each word (previously mentioned issue) but there are no circles and everything is normal; I don't know how to help other than maybe trying an Office repair and cleaning up the PC with CCleaner (among others)

Someone more experienced with Word will be better able to understand the problem.

        Best regards

When I create a text, the little circles appear somewhat randomly depending on the formatting.

    Hello

It might be non-printable characters that indicate the formatting of the documents. If you want to remove them, click on the ¶ button or press Ctrl+8.

      Hello Adeline,
these are indeed non-printable characters, but masking them does not delete them. Thank you.
