Hello everyone.
I’m reaching out because I have a problem with my Lenovo G50-30. First of all, it started with my optical drive no longer working. It made a lot of noise when I tried to open the drive but never actually opened. I moved on, but now I have another, more important and annoying issue with my computer: the alt and alt gr keys no longer work.
As a result, I can’t type @, use alt+tab, etc.
Before asking for your help, I did the following. I ran scans with Adwcleaner, ZHPDiag, and ZHPCleaner, then I reset my Windows to factory settings, completely wiping the hard drive. So far, nothing has changed; then I tested an external keyboard and had no issues with it.
So, I don’t know where the problem could be coming from.
Does anyone have any idea that could help me restore the use of the alt keys?
I’d like to mention that I’m on Windows 8.1.
Thanks.
