Question

Labtec keyboard not working properly

Hello

I have a Labtec ultra flat wireless desktop USB keyboard and mouse.
The main part of the keyboard works, but the function keys located at the top do not.
I have tried reinstalling, updating the drivers, searching all the forums and FAQs, but I can't find a solution.
Can someone help me?

which keys are you talking about..... F1 to F12 or the ones above...?
Because if I believe the manual I just downloaded.... some are programmable...

Now it might also be that the CD provided with the keyboard and mouse set is defective

Hello

It concerns the keys above F1 to F12; there is a messaging shortcut key that doesn't open anything, a web access key that doesn’t lead anywhere, a favorites key, a refresh key, a search key, one key (I don't know what it's for) with a drawing of a PC above it, a key with a musical note, and on the right above the numeric keypad, a pause/play key, volume +, volume -, mute, previous chapter, and next chapter.

I checked the two links you provided; the program I downloaded doesn't match the keyboard (just 4 programmable keys).

The manual also doesn't represent my keyboard.

So it's still not working.

labtec® USB ultra-plat sans fil bureau  Here is the exact designation of the keyboard, but the driver link that corresponds only allows the configuration of the mouse.

Sniff, the FAQ is in English, it's not really helping me.
Contacting Labtec isn't easy; when I click on "contact us," it gives a phone number.
The seller will still be available, but since they are a seller, I'm not sure they know the equipment very well.

So, it's not progressing at the moment.

I have an insurmountable problem; I can no longer use my numeric keypad (on the right). I have tried several different keyboards via USB and PS2, and I think there's an issue in Windows because it works fine in the BIOS. Thank you for your help.

I'm sorry, I couldn't manage to create a new message, I'm a bit useless with computers.
No, locking or unlocking the keyboard doesn't change anything, I've already done that.
I truly think the problem lies in Windows XP.

Hello, I also have a problem with this keyboard. In fact, I can't press 3 keys at the same time, even if it's just for a few seconds. For example, in a video game, I can't move forward, turn, and shoot at the same time, which is not practical at all because in almost all games, you need to play with multiple keys simultaneously :/
So I reinstalled the keyboard, went into the control panel, keyboard, but nothing corresponds to my problem.
So basically, I need a little helping hand :)

I had the same issue, all you need to do is install the software that comes with the keyboard in English (instead of French). For me, it worked.

I just bought this keyboard and mouse and I had the same problem as you.
To activate the multimedia keys, you need to go to the CD/Disk1/Registry/Function and double-click on the FunctionFR.reg file, then click OK to confirm.
The multimedia keys will then be activated.
